Why You Have to Take the NM Written Knowledge Exam ?

The NM Written Knowledge Exam is designed to test your knowledge of driving procedures, road signs, regulations and laws. How should you study? If you have not taken any courses in Drivers Ed or it's been more than a few months, it is best to prepare for the exam by studying the New Mexico Driver's Manual latest version at: https://www.mvd.newmexico.gov/resources/mvd-procedures-manuals/

NM MVD Practice Written Exam will cover all of the information you need to know. All of the Practice Questions are formatted to that of the actual New Mexico MVD Written Exam. Whether you correctly answer the questions or not, the Practice Question Exam will show you your score, out of the 25 questions.

We highly recommend that you get a score of 80% or higher. It's been shown that taking tests similar to that of the actual exam can go a long way towards helping you pass the final exam. With similar structures and a wide variety of random practice questions you will have been thoroughly quizzed. Each time you take the test, the questions will be random, exposing you to a conceptually similar example of the actual MVD exam.

Try enough Practice Exams to make sure you can reach a score of 80% with ease. We suggest minimum of 5 attempts. The more you take the more MVD Exam type questions you will see.

The actual NM Knowledge Written Exam will have 25 multiple choice questions that are chosen at random. A Passing Score on the actual exam is 70%, which means you should be able to answer at least 18 questions correctly. If you don't pass the actual NM MVD Knowledge Exam the first time; you may take the NM MVD Exam up to 3 times in 6 months.
